Safe flying begins before launch
This page sets out general principles. Specific competitions and events are governed by approved regulations and organiser instructions.
Model condition
The model, control system, power source and other critical components should be checked before launch. Known faults should not be compensated for through risky operation.
Flying discipline
Participants should follow organiser instructions, remain within the designated flying area and respect launch order and directions from responsible officials.
Youth activities
Activities for children and teenagers should include appropriate supervision, clear rules and risk controls suitable for participants' age and experience.
